Why I love my EDC Brainstorming Kit: the Sticky "Static Notes" and the Post-it app #hackyourself

I have been using static notes for a number of years. I plan using them for my table top videos on my channel fast & curious on YouTube . The static notes could be used as visual references, hashtags, brands, products, pros&cons. So hey, why not create a table top review about the static notes as a first prototype run. In addition to a quick overview on sticky notes and static notes, I slipped in my EDC kit. Small static notes I keep in my wallet as well as the cute but ultra capable Victorinox Signature mini swiss army knife. The Signature includes a ball pen and with the nail file opened, the Victorinox transforms into a really nice and ergonomic pen. I love using it. The final WOW factor is the 3M Post-it app . Just snapping photos of your brainstorm outcome is great. But being able to scan all static notes, save them as a boards, move each note individually, running a great OCR text recognition is just incredible. You can export your board and your notes as a JPG image...

All my EDC pens - a very nice way to hack myself

I want lightweight and small pens, yet fun to use. Hence my current choices: Kaweco Frosted Sport in Natural Coconut with a calligraphy nib size 1.1 Unusual choice of nib, yet I discovered that with such a wide nib my writing transforms, I get easily in a nice flow. Best of all, it looks much nicer and is far more readable than with ball pens or gel pens. Victorinox Signature, the mini swiss army knife with a great ball pen. 25 gr, 5.8cms long, fully extended by openeing thenail file transforms the SAK into an ergonomic 10 cm lenght. I have carried such a mini SAK with a pen for a number of years and I love the tool and I love the pen. The Victorinox Signature is just a great multi tool you can wear on a key chain. Obsessive multi tool weight saving for minimalists: 1/4 bit holder or torque adapters for 5mm Allen Keys

This is a bit of a weird one for minimalists: bit holder adapters for 5mm wrenches. Two manufacturers: Topeak & PB Swiss Tools (possibly more?) Topeak offers 4 Nm, 5 Nm and 6 Nm torque socket adapters called TorqSockets. They are only offered in Torqbox sets which is why searching for such adapters is a bit confusing. The TorqBox come with a female Hex5 to be used with the most commonly used 5mm Allen key. Each box comes with the same five bits, T25, T20, Hex5, 4, 3. The TorqBox adapters are easily confused with the nearly identical TorqBits that have a male 1/4 hex shank for bit ratches and screwdrivers*. Following images are linked from the Topeak website.
